Household Recycling Instructions

All residents must contract with a private hauler to pick up their household recyclables. There is no location in Town for household recycling.

Place all household recyclable items in the single stream cart provided by hauler. Place your cart within 2’ of the curb (not in the roadway), the night before your pickup, 3-4’ away from other containers, mailboxes, telephone poles, etc.

The following items are recyclable (so don’t put them in your trash!):

• Glass (clear, brown, green) clean of contents that were used for human consumption
• Aluminum (cans, foil, pans)
• Corrugated Cardboard (flattened)
• Plastics #1- #17
• Magazines
• Junk Mail
• Office Paper
• Newspaper
• Phone Books
• Paper Bags
• Paperboard (cereal, cracker boxes, etc.) (non-corrugated)
