Criminal Investigation Division

Goal:

To conduct thorough and comprehensive investigations leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of offenders.

Initiatives:

• Conduct Neighborhood Watch Block meetings
• Offer school/child safety presentations at elementary schools
• Provide services to crime victims
• Conduct tours of the Police Station
• Reduce the incidence of false burglary and robbery alarms

Crime prevention strengthens relations between the Police Department and the public, interacts and educates youth, gathers and disseminates statistical data, provides a variety of crime prevention programs, conducts security inspections and coordinates volunteer activities.
