What to Bring to Your Energy Assistance Appointment
- FOUR most recent paychecks/paystubs (weekly or biweekly) from every working person living in the home
- ALL account balance statements with institution’s letter head (e.g. checking, savings, prepaid card) showing at least 4 weeks activity for every person living in the home and must be within the last thirty days
- Social Security Numbers of every person living in the home
- Proof of current mortgage payments and amount OR current rent payments and amount in the form of:
- Rent receipts
- Tenant’s lease
- Copy of most recent electric bill
- If you receive SSI or SSD benefits:
- Need to bring 1099 SSI benefits form or have it show up on bank statements as direct deposited
