Payment Options

You have various options when choosing how to pay your bill. Tax and sewer bills can be paid by mail, in-office (we only accept cash or check), our drop box outside the entrance of the town hall, and online.

Online

We partnered with Invoice Cloud to assist with our online payment processing. You can pay by Credit or Debit Card/Google Pay/PayPal for a 3.25% convenience fee paid to Invoice Cloud. To avoid the service fee, we recommend paying by EFT (E-Check) to pay your bills, there is no charge. Please note: A $20 bounced check fee will be charged if your payment is returned to us unpaid.

You may pay your real estate, personal property, motor vehicle, and motor vehicle supplemental bills by clicking the “Pay Your Taxes Online” button on the sidebar of this page, and searching for your bill by various different search criteria options.

If you are paying your sewer bill, please click the same link, however navigate to the blue bar at the top of the screen, and click “Sewer/Water/Misc” which then you will be required to search by Bill # or Unique ID. If you do not click on “Sewer/Water/Misc” you will not be able to find your sewer bill.

Partial payments are also accepted online, you must add the entire bill to your cart, and during checkout when choosing your payment method, you can choose the amount you wish to pay.

Mail

You may also choose to mail a check to our office as payment. Choosing to mail your payment instead of paying us directly in-office or online is a risk, any transit issues causing the payment to arrive to us late (without postmark) or get lost in the mail is not our responsibility. You will be charged late interest according to state law. When determining late payments, we follow the envelopes postmark, so a payment received after the last day to pay (ex. February 1st) will be considered on-time if the postmark is on or before that date. Envelopes postmarked after the last day to pay, or received without a postmark after that date are considered late.

Taxpayers utilizing their banks BillPay service to mail us a check: Please be advised that financial institutions rarely postmark their envelopes, therefore if it is received after the last day to pay without said postmark, you will be late and charged late interest. Please also note that your bill number changes on a yearly basis, please be sure to update any bill number or account number information with your BillPay service to avoid processing errors.
