East Hampton Prevention Partnership
As a Local Prevention Council, the East Hampton Prevention Partnership is dedicated to reducing substance abuse among young people. Our mission is to foster a culture that values the wellbeing of East Hampton’s youth. We strive to instill self-acceptance, self-confidence and goal-setting to promote healthy choices. In collaboration with community stakeholders, we offer educational programs and outreach initiatives.
The coalition meets on a monthly basis, typically on the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings are open to all community members who wish to participate.
Bring Change to Mind’s High School Program gives teens a platform to share their voices and raise awareness around mental health. Our goal is to empower students to educate one another, and their communities, and to create a culture of peer support within their schools. Together, we’ll fight the stigma around mental illness and substance abuse. Any East Hampton High School Student can participate in the club and we usually meet after school every two weeks.
