Mission Statement
It is the mission of East Hampton Social Services (EHSS) to enhance the quality of life and foster the self-sufficiency of community members in need of economic and social support.
Through collaboration with individuals and other agencies, services are provided to meet the basic human rights: food, shelter, clothing, and maintenance of health and well-being.
Social Services may be reached at (860) 267-9982 during normal Town Hall business hours.
The Social Services Department provides information for and works with individuals to acquire services for specific needs. These needs may be:
- Food Bank
- Energy Assistance
- Medical Assistance
- Eviction Prevention
