East Hampton Revaluation
The Town of East Hampton is currently undergoing a revaluation of all taxable property within its corporate limits. Municipal Valuation Services has been contracted by the town to perform this service, and is currently inspecting properties and collecting data throughout town.
The revaluation of property is to reflect an estimated fair market value as of October 1, 2010. It is important an interior access be granted to field personal to attain accurate information in order to arrive at fair assessments. Your cooperation is necessary and appreciated.
All data collectors and field personal are registered with the police department and will be carrying identification. Any questions, please call the Assessor’s office at 860-267-2510.
At this time I am asking all property owners to review the data on their field cards for accuracy. These cards are on the web at http://www.rmsreval.com/selection.html . You must register, but the web site is free.
You may also visit the Assessor’s Office at the Town Hall to check your data. Please call the Assessor’s Office with any data discrepancies
