We as Women: An Original One Act Play
Friday, March 1, 2013 at 7:00 PM
Epoch ARts, 27 Skinner St.

Epoch Arts invites you to join the girls of Breaking Silences in an original play about women. "We As Women" is taken from a women's suffrage poem and is about the journey of women. The play begins in 2013 at school with the girls complaining about their lives. When they are transported to a different time period, they come to realize the struggle that women have and are still going through. Researching women who have made a difference, the girls have based their characters on women such as Alice Paul from the suffrage movement, the 14 year old Pakistani,Malala Yousafzai, Gypsy women from the Holocaust as well as other important women. Join us for this powerful play and learn about the history of women. $7 Adults, $5 Students and Seniors.27 Skinner Street, East Hampton Ct. www.epocharts.org
