East Hampton Water Development Task Force
Minutes from Friday, April 17, 2009 
7 a.m. at WPCA
 
 
 
Meeting called to order 7:07 a.m.
 
Present:  Vinnie Susco, Johnny Hanson, Bob Heidel, John Tuttle, Ted Hintz,  Jeff O’Keefe and Melissa Engel.

Not present:  Peter Aarrestad.
 
A motion was made by Mr. Tuttle to enter into executive session to discuss possible land acquisition.  Motion seconded by Mr. Hintz and unanimously approved.
 
Came out of executive session at 7:44 a.m.
 
Final expenses were reported by Mr. Susco for completion of the Village water project totaling $654,000 with only $300,000 coming from taxpayers AND with an additional yield of approximately 7,000 gallons of water per day.
 
Mr. O’Keefe reported that the Town of East Hampton is among the top 10 contenders statewide for stimulus money slated to go toward the Town’s centralized water system. He should know more by May 1, 2009.
 
Meeting was adjourned at 7:55 a.m.  Motion made and seconded by Mr. Tuttle and Mr. Susco respectively.  So voted.
