MINUTES of March 28, 2008
Town Garage Meeting Room
 
 
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 a.m.
 
In attendance were: Johnny Hanson, Vinnie Susco, Mark Barmasse, Melissa Engel, Bob Heidel, John Tuttle and Bob Drewry.  Ted Hintz Jr. was absent. Peter Aarrestad arrived at 7:04.
 
Minutes of 3/11/08 were approved. Motion made by Mr. Barmasse, 2nd by Mr. Tuttle to approve. Vote was unanimous to appove.
 
St. Clements update – Tuttle, Engel, Heidel, Drewry, Susco and Town Attorney Jean D’Aquila met with Father Dougherty Thursday, March 27th.  Heard their proposal, presented the Town’s proposal.  Both parties will consider each. 
 
Additional Water Sources – Discussed potential area wells that could augment the potential supply of the two wells we have now.  The well at the Goff House does not meet state requirements and the Town is still awaiting test results from the Library well. That could be a possible source.  Testing was performed on March 10.
 
Mr. Susco and GEOInsights will meet with state Department of Public Health on April 3 in Hartford to discuss final plans for fulfilling the Consent Order.
 
A three-day pump test on well #1 will be performed April 14 during school vacation.  Motion to adjourn was made by Tuttle, 2nd by Heidel.  Meeting adjourned at 8:16 a.m.
