Death Certificates
A death certificate is on file in the Town Clerk’s Office in the town where the person lived prior to his/her death and the town where the death occurred. In order to obtain a certified copy of a death certificate please click on the link and follow the directions.
You may obtain a certified copy of a death certificate either in person or through the mail. The Town Clerk’s Office is located at 20 East High Street, East Hampton, CT 06424.
To request a certified copy of a death certificate through the mail, please print out a death certificate request form and follow the instructions listed on the form.
